About The Ride

Bay Area Medical Center is proud to organize this ride as part of our COMMITMENT to our community and to healthy lifestyles. Monies raised through this year’s ride will SUPPORT local cancer screenings and patient programs.

During this event, as at all times, SAFETY is important as you cycle. You MUST wear your bicycle helmet while riding in the BAMC Menominee River Century.

Day of Ride

STARTS AT MARINETTE HIGH SCHOOL

Starting earlier than 7 am may mean some rest stops may not be open or SAG service available. Note rest stop opening times on the route map.

BAMC MRC Routes

15 km (10 mile) A family fun ride on flat terrain

This loop includes several views of Lake Michigan on pleasant cycling roads. A variety of kids activities for our younger riders. A perfect route at a perfect price for the entire family. One rest stop with special treats for kids and SAG service are provided.

40 km (25 mile) Green Bay, Peshtigo River, Marinette Co. Scenic Roads

Flat terrain. Highlights include:

• Several views of Lake Michigan
• Michaelis Park (stop and go wading if you like)
• The Little Red Schoolhouse
• The festive atmosphere of the Tyco Rest Stop entertainment and burgers

80 km (50 mile) The "Tour de Peshtigo"

Offers an option for those not challenged enough by the 40 km loop but not willing to attempt the longer loops. Route features flat to gently rolling terrain and a variety of vegetation. All features of 40 km route plus:

• Old Harmony Grocery Rest Stop
• Culligan Water Stop
• Historic Harmony Cemetery

120 km (75 mile) Wisconsin-UP Michigan's Favorite Metric Century.

Includes all of the highlights of the 40 km route plus:

• The Miles Road Rest Stop
• Wilke Town Hall Water Stop (country church & fainting goats)
• Bruette Road
• Scenic River Park Rest Stop
• Views of the Peshtigo and Menominee Rivers
• River Road, Upper Michigan’s premier cycling route
• Chappee Rapids Water Stop
• Historic Waterfront District, Menominee
